The Bellport Chamber of Commerce hosts monthly dinner meetings at member restaurants with engaging speakers and provides opportunities to network with other business owners. 

Promote your business thru membership. The Bellport chamber endorses monthly advertising sections in the Long Island Advance, event advertising programs with Jack Ellsworth WALK-AM, Newsday & the South Shore Press. As a chamber member you receive discounted Chamber advertising rates on ALL your advertising with these venues. Bi-Annually we publish the Guide to Bellport which is distributed free to the public. 

As a member you receive free business listings on our website and calendar postings of your business events and promotions. Members are listed alphabetically as well as by category to insure access to your information. Our website receives over 7000 hits per month and is growing daily.

Local stores and businesses that are chamber members can participate in this benefit of membership. It was a very active year for the chamber and the work continues: The Bellport Chamber of Commerce chose as its Adopt-a-Highway, Station Road from Head of the Neck north to Sunrise Highway and we clean it 4 times per year. In June we give two high school scholarships to students pursuing business as their career. We continue to subsidize hand crafted flower boxes and provide Christmas wreaths to every storefront.

With the Village we are working with the Suffolk County Community College on a survey of our immediate and surrounding areas to help us promote Invest in your Community, Shop Locally programs. In 2005 several grants were written and awarded for seating and beautification projects thru out the village. Look for completed implementation this year.
